Part Self-Help Lifestyle Brand, part psychedelic corporation, Diamond Brand was (and continues to be) a vessel for the frustrations and inspirations of living through late capitalism. It is foremost the inception of Sophia Tschida and Melanie Curran, but includes collaborations with Troy Plemmons, Hannah Blankenship Doucette, Tom Barton, and Molly Baker. The project uses music, visual art, the internet, and easily-accessible computer programs, to create the myth of folk-multinational corporation. Despite a lack of capital, the corporation / lifestyle brand thrives, and the only real profit is that of friendship and absurdist art in Washington State, Louisiana, and California.
